Teaching Professional Dale Smith
A professional golf instructor with many years of experience teaching men, women and junior golfers, Dale teaches beginners the basics of the golf swing in a manner which makes them feel comfortable and puts them at ease. One of Dale’s major objectives in working with beginners is to allow them to learn while enjoying the wonderful game of golf. Dale also works with intermediate and advanced golfers on swing techniques as well as course management to help them to lower their scores and increase their enjoyment of golf.
Over the past nine years Dale has been pivotal in the development of one of the finest junior golf programs in the area. Diamond Oaks GC offers junior golfers the opportunity to expand their golf games year round, through programs such as The First Tee, Diamonds in the Rough, Little Linkers and The Junior Golf Academy. Dale conducts “Sunday Workshops”, generally on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. These “Workshops” range from putting techniques and drills to the full swing with the driver, and everything in between. A great way to work on your golf game in a clinic environment and at a low price. Dale has worked at Haggin Oaks and Twelve Bridges (now Catta Verdera) in the Sacramento area and then moved to Southern California working in the Murrieta Valley with Temecula Valley Golf. Later he moved to Austin, TX and worked with the Golfsmith organization. In 2007, Dale moved back to the Sacramento area and began working at Diamond Oaks GC in Roseville, CA.
